Looks like social security recipients are not getting a raise for 2016 and are actually going to loose money!
The linked article gives a pretty good description of why social security recipients will not get a raise in 2016 because inflation has been minimal. Most will additionally have a substantial increase in the cost of their Medicare premiums. See the article for more information.
